Canine Country Club

Welcome back!  Please be warned that the corner by the big tree is still wet and muddy.  There is a lot of goose poop out in the park, so watch your step and keep a close eye on the dogs.  Ours like to roll in it, and, of course also have to taste it!  Also, it can be pretty stinky out there.  The stagnant water is just nasty, and is still standing at the corners across both Sturdy and Division. Also the mosquitoes have been thick and very pesky.  The white benches are sitting  in front of the porch.  They were floating out in the park for several days, along with the trash can. They've been disinfected, but Bob needs help putting them in a temporary spot.  In spite of all the negatives that I just mentioned, we're very happy to be opening again.  The park doesn't look so bad--hopefully that rain/flood was a once in a lifetime situation--I've not seen it so bad in all my years out here.   Our darling grandson, Liam, is 3 weeks old today and doing very well.  On a somber note, we want to extend our deepest sympathy to CCC member Alexis (Terry and Jordan) Coady and her family, on the tragic and heroic loss of her brother, Mark, and father, John Thanos last week.
