Hot diggity dog, the “Dachshund Derby” was a blast!

In spite of heat, humidity, and rain in the morning, the DD turned out to be a great success! A good time was had by all—racers and spectators, both human and canine. Everybody was a wiener! Thanks to our old friends for coming up from southern Indiana to help with the event, and congratulations to all the participants. We had some nice media coverage complete with photos from the Chronicle and the Post Tribune. Thanks also to Cheryl and Doug Sutherland of Pretty Paws Pet Photography, and Kelly and Bob of JF Cemps Homemade Dog Treats for helping to make the day a success.
