Canine Country Club

After sitting through 90 minutes of old and new business and parliamentary procedure, our case was presented to the board of zoning appeals by our attorney tonight.  Thanks to our sharp lawyer and two eloquent (and touching) testimonials by CCC member Rick Yoder and our neighbor to the southeast, Paul Bauer, the board approved our application unanimously!  They then made some very nice comments about CCC, and remarked that it was one of the best use variances that they’d approved!  This was much better than we had hoped, and now we can proceed with our demolition and building permits!  This matter will be put on the back burner until next year for now, but tonight’s experience has been a heartwarming one for us.  Thanks to all of you who wished us well and supported us.  (Your mom was there, Jason)
